We are pleased to inform you that at 3pm GMT Monday 8th July 2008 we will be opening our pre-registration queue to allow you to submit applications for the new top level domain .me

On the 17th July 2008 the .me registry will open on a first come first basis and to maximise the chances of you getting the names of your choice we will submit all pre-registration domain applications received in our queue the moment the registry opens. We will submit them strictly in the order we received them. So the sooner you put in your choice the better chances you will have of securing the names.

As this is a new domain type there is a good choice of domain names still available.

To submit your pre-registrations , if you are not already a Partner, sign up for a free non-obligatory account and then  select the "Pre-register" link on the left hand menu in your partner account and click the "Submit Domain" link and follow the instructions.

The cost of submitting a .me name for pre-registration will be £50 / $100 / €62,50. This includes the required 2 years of registration, and a £10 / $20 / €12,50 non-refundable application fee. Should we not acquire the domain for you we will refund your domain registration fee minus the application fee.

We will send you an email after the 17th July to inform you of the status of your pre-registrations, alternatively you can check the "Domain Queue" link in the pre-registrations area of your partner account.
