| Email forwarding. |
Once you have registered your domain name and it is within your partner account, you may wish to start receiving email using your domain name. We offer a free email forwarding service that allows you to set a maximum of five different email addresses associated with the domain name that will automatically redirect email to accounts of your choosing. We also offer a catchall service that will redirect all email intended for your domain to an email account of your choosing.
So for example if you have registered "example.com" then you could configure the email forwarding as follows:
bob@example.com redirect to bob23@hotmail.com
mary@example.com redirect to mary.smith@aol.com
sales@example.com redirect to sales@yourisp.com
You could also use the catchall facility so that
anything@example.com redirect to me@someisp.com
This would forward any emails sent to info@example.com or enquiry@example.com or any other intended address based on the example.com domain to me@someisp.com.
To take advantage of email forwarding simply login into your partner account, click the 'email forwarding' link on the domain details page and input the relevant details.
You can change the settings of your email forwarding as often as you wish and there are no limits on the amount of email that will be forwarded. Changes to your email forwarding will take approximately 15 minutes to become active.
To use the email forwarding service you will be required to change the name servers associated with your domain to ns1.totalregistrations.com and ns2.totalregistrations.com. When changing name servers this can take up to 48 hours to propagate around the Internet.
