2.i YOUR REGISTRATION OF DOMAIN NAMES USING THE IIT-RA REGISTRY
The IIT-RA Registry is the body having responsibility for registration of .it domain names, whose address is:

To register a .it domain name you must have a European presence, i.e. be resident, or (being a company, partnership or other body) established in an EEA (European Economic Area) state. Please ask Total Registrations for more details if required.
2.i 1. When you apply to register any .it domain name, you will be required to provide us with the following information:
full name, postal address, email address, voice telephone number, and fax number if available of the Registrant
National Insurance number/Passport number, place of birth and date of birth (if you are an individual making a registration),
Company name and number, date of incorporation and town/city of incorporation, VAT number (if the registration is on behalf of a company).
This information will be used by Total Registrations and the IIT-RA Registry in connection with registration of your .it domain name(s) and for the purposes of the Registration Agreement.
By proceeding with the registration you agree to the information provided pursuant to this provision being made available through a publicly accessible Whois database.
You have a right of access to the personal information about you held by us and/or the IIT-RA Registry and a right to require rectification of any such information which is inaccurate.
2.i.2. As a registrant you agree to provide to us accurate, complete and valid registration information as detailed above at the time of registration, and to keep such information current, complete and accurate at all times during the term of the Registration Agreement. You hereby represent and
warrant that all information provided by you is true, correct, up-to-date and complete to the best of your knowledge and belief. The Registration Agreement is deemed to have been breached should you wilfully provide inaccurate or unreliable information, or fail to update information or fail to respond
within 5 calendar days to our e-mail enquiries submitted to the administrative, billing or technical contact described in the current Whois listing kept by Total Registrations, regarding the accuracy or validity of contact information associated with the registration of a domain name registered through
the IIT-RA Registry service.
2.i.3. As a registrant of a .it domain name, you are also subject to and bound by the IIT-RA's Domain Name Registration Rules and Technical Registration Procedures in force from time to time, the current versions of which are available to view via the following links: Naming Rules: http://www.nic.it/NA/regole-naming-curr-engl.txt

2.i.4. You should be aware in particular that .it domain names are assigned in use. Therefore, any .it domain names assigned to you are not your property. The IIT-RA Registry and/or Total Registrations may revoke .it domain names in accordance with the Domain Name Registration Rules and the Technical
Registration Procedures referred to above, or upon a Court decision, or pursuant to clauses 7 or 17 of the Registration Agreement (see clauses 7 and 17 of the Terms and Conditions) or any other provision of the Terms and Conditions which provides for a right of revocation
2.i.5. The IIT-RA's liability in respect of the keeping and updating of the IIT-RA assigned names register shall be limited to liability for fraud or gross negligence, unless otherwise stated by specific provisions of mandatory rules applying in Italy.
2.i.6. The IIT-RA and Total Registrations disclaim all responsibility for any prior enquiry about third party rights affecting any .it domain name applied for by the registrant, including, by way of example, but not limited to, intellectual, industrial, personality property rights to be assigned
or applied for domain names.
2.i.7. The dispute resolution policy applicable to any dispute involving any .it domain name shall be the dispute resolution policy nominated by the IIT-RA from time to time, which you agree to be bound by in relation to your .it domain name(s) for as long as you hold such domain name(s). |
